Tickets are $100/person; the ticket price does not include food or drink. $40 of the ticket price is tax deductible. Proceeds benefit the James Moody Scholarship Fund, established by James and Linda Moody to create opportunities for the next generation of jazz masters.

Legendary jazz saxophonist and NEA Jazz Master James Moody headlines the concert.

Joining Moody on stage will be

Randy Brecker, trumpet
Todd Coolman, bass (Director of Jazz Studies, Purchase College)
Jon Faddis, trumpet & music director (Director of Jazz Performance, Purchase College)
Mike Longo, piano
Barbara Morrison, vocalist
NEA Jazz Master, Paquito D’Rivera, NEA Jazz Master, clarinet & saxophone
Adam Nussbaum, drums
Tim Ries, saxophone
NEA Jazz Master Hank Jones, piano
Yotam Silberstein, guitar.

Moody Scholars who will perform with the group include: Duncan Hardy, saxophone, 2008 Moody Scholar; and Andy Roninson, piano, 2009 Moody Scholar.

Michael Bourne, on-air host at WBGO Jazz 88.3 FM, will serve as Master of Ceremonies.
